Samsung's Bada is the new challenger.

Yes, you got it right. Samsung has decided to join the club by coming out with a smartphone mobile platform, Bada.

Skip the silly name ( which means ocean in Korean ), Bada do have its own advantage in the mobile market. With its cross platform USP ( Unique Selling Proposition ), Bada would be a big hit in the developer's scene. Having the cross platform, it would be easy for developers to create an application for Bada, unlike iPhone.

Using this, Samsung is hoping to get mobile application's developer around the world to fill in their Application store with apps, some sort of the appStore ofcourse. But they will have to get trough the King of Apps, iPhone first before having any victory dance.

As a whole, I would think Samsung Wave which is the first Samsung phone to use Bada, is a good buy for any smart phone lovers. You may see it as iPhone, Window's mobile, Palm Pre and Black Berry combined. iPhone's interface and applications, Window's widgets, Pre's multitasking and BB's email in one.... what more do you want? Well.....it could be seen as a copycat but it is still a good phone to own.

Currently I would say that Samsung Wave is one of the best mobile phone to own but keep in mind.... somewhere in summer iPhone 4G will be launching and Windows 7 mobile will hit the market, till then Samsung Wave is one of the best.
